My Story
Michelle Whitaker is a Perth Hills local, wife and mother of two. She is an AHPRA/Board Registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine Practitioner with over 20 years’ experience in clinical practice. Currently, she practices at East Meets West in Tuart Hill and her private clinic in Chidlow. Consultations are available from anywhere in Australia, via Zoom, for treatment with Chinese Herbal medicine.
Having a special interest in women’s health, fertility, pregnancy and postpartum, Michelle has expanded on her skill set by completing many speciality-based courses and further training. She is passionate about utilising up to date, evidence-based knowledge in her practice.
Michelle is also a trained birth and postpartum Doula and Certified Hypnobirthing Australia™ Childbirth Educator. She teaches the Positive Birth Program in both private and group settings. Group classes are held in the Perth Hills area and at East Meets West in Tuart Hill.
